Who we are and what this policy covers
This site is operated by NicramLabs Corp. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies to everyone who uses the site: visitors browsing listings, customers who contact a business through a listing, and business owners who claim or manage a listing.
The rules for using the site itself are set out in our Terms and asset policy.
Information we collect
Business listing information. Listings contain business details such as the business name, city and service area, address, services, hours, website and booking links, and photos. Some listings are first created from publicly available sources (for example a business's own website or public directories) before the owner claims them. If a listing describes your business and you do not want it shown, you can decline it through the claim link we send you, use the unsubscribe link in our messages, or contact us at privacy@dogspafinder.com and we will remove it.
Owner claims and accounts. When you claim, update, or submit a listing, we collect your name, email address, your role at the business, and anything you include in your request. Owners who sign in to manage listings have an account with our authentication provider, which stores your email address and password (or sends a one-time magic sign-in link to your email).
Customer inquiries. When you send a quote request to a business through its listing, we collect your name, your contact details and preferred contact method, and any optional details you choose to add (message, requested service, timeframe, and information about your dog).
Listing activity. We count listing activity events — profile views and clicks on a listing's website or booking links — so owners can see how their listing performs. These are stored as counts against the listing; we do not build browsing profiles of visitors.
Cookies. We use essential cookies only: session cookies that keep business owners and administrators signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.
Anti-abuse checks. Public forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a challenge in your browser to tell people apart from bots. Cloudflare processes technical signals (such as your IP address and browser characteristics) to perform that check.
How we use personal information
We use the information above to operate the site: publishing and maintaining business listings, relaying customer inquiries to the business chosen by the customer, reviewing listing claims and submissions, letting owners sign in and manage their listings, emailing people about their own requests (for example confirming a claim or telling an owner their listing is live), showing owners how often their listing is viewed and clicked, and keeping the site secure and free of spam and abuse.
We do not use your personal information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
How we share personal information
With the business you contact. When you send an inquiry through a listing, the details you enter (your name, contact information, and your message) are relayed by email to that business so it can respond to you directly.
With service providers. We use a small number of infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf: Vercel (application hosting), Supabase (database and sign-in, hosted in the United States), Resend (email delivery), and Cloudflare (Turnstile anti-abuse checks). These providers process personal information only to provide their services to us.
When required by law. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or a valid legal process.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep information
We keep business listing information while the listing is published. Claims, submissions, and inquiry records are kept while they are needed to run the site and to maintain a record of consent, removal requests, and review decisions. Listing activity counts are kept in aggregate. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will remove it unless we need to keep a minimal record to honour the request itself (for example a suppression record so we do not contact you again) or to meet a legal obligation.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to privacy@dogspafinder.com. We respond to every request and may ask you to verify that you are the person the information belongs to.
Email opt-out. Our emails include a way to stop receiving them — either an unsubscribe link or an instruction to reply asking to unsubscribe. Both are honoured.
Listing removal. If your business is listed and you want it removed, use the claim or unsubscribe link in any message we sent you, or contact us at privacy@dogspafinder.com and we will take the listing down.
Where your information is stored
The site and its database are hosted on infrastructure located in the United States. If you use the site from Canada or elsewhere, your personal information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
Canada — PIPEDA and Québec Law 25
We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to withdraw your consent to our handling of it (subject to legal or contractual restrictions), and you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada about our practices.
For residents of Québec, the operator of this site is the person in charge of the protection of personal information under Law 25. Requests under Québec law — including access, rectification, and cessation of dissemination — can be sent to privacy@dogspafinder.com.
United States — state privacy rights
Depending on your state (for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request a copy of it, to ask us to delete or correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of — the other rights can be exercised by writing to privacy@dogspafinder.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the site, contact us at privacy@dogspafinder.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be visible here before they take effect.
